There are many ways to compare Quy Nhon City (Binh Dinh Province) with others, but Binh Dinh People’s Committee Chairman, Vu Hoang Ha, has his own comparison when saying: “Quy Nhon is like a fairy, who after years of secluding herself came out of her palace and joined in the ordinary life, and this made her more attractive.”

Quy Nhon was allowed by the Government to upgrade from a provincial town to a city level. At present, the City covers an area of 216,44 sq. km, from Binh De Pass in the North to Cu Mong Pass in the South, with a population of 250,000 inhabitants. The local area, relating to Sa Huynh Culture (dating back to 2,500 B.C), had been the capital of the Champa Kingdom for five centuries and the native land of many talented and famous personalities.
