Highland Folk Art Festival 2016 will take place in 5 days (from March 18th to 23rd) in the city of Kon Tum (Kon Tum) with the participation of the five Central Highlands provinces of Kon Tum, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Dak Nong and Lam Dong.

The Department of Culture, Sports & Tourism in Dak Lak said it would participate fully in the programs and activities that take place at the festival, including folk carving wooden statues; Manipulating ethnic musical instruments; Gallery, Exhibition of Cultural Heritage in Highlands; Performing Art of adjusting gong, gong performing exchanges; Introducing food culture and street art performances. In the part of Chieng performance and adjustment, provincial teams will select team of Ko Sier village and young team Cu Ebur (Buon Ma Thuot city).

It is expected that the festival will attract more than 300 artists, performers of folk art in the Central Highlands in attendance. Through this cultural event, the Central Highlands ethnic will tighten solidarity, preserve and promote the nation's cultural identity.
